How We Match the Right Caregiver

Jul 8, 2026

Choosing a caregiver is one of the most important decisions a family can make. At Always Caring of Connecticut, we know that exceptional care starts with the right match. That's why we take a personalized approach to every client we serve.

It Starts with Listening

Before care begins, we conduct a complimentary in-home assessment to learn about your loved one's daily routine, health concerns, personality, interests, and goals. We also take the time to understand your family's expectations, allowing us to create a personalized care plan that fits your unique situation.

Finding the Best Fit

Every caregiver brings different strengths, experience, and personality. When making a match, we carefully consider:

  • Care needs and level of assistance required

  • Personality and communication style

  • Experience with conditions such as Alzheimer’s, Dementia or Parkinson's disease

  • Shared interests and hobbies

  • Language preferences whenever possible

  • Schedule compatibility to promote consistency

Our goal is to pair each client with a caregiver who not only provides exceptional care but also builds a meaningful, trusting relationship.

While we strive to make the best possible caregiver match from the very beginning, we understand that sometimes the connection may not be the right fit. If that happens, our team will work closely with you to find a caregiver who better matches your loved one's personality, preferences, and care needs. Your comfort and confidence are always our priority.

As Needs Change, So Does the Care Plan

Care needs often evolve over time. A client who initially needs companionship may later require assistance with personal care, mobility, or additional support.

When this happens, we may recommend a follow-up assessment to evaluate the client's current needs. This allows us to update the care plan and determine whether adjustments to the schedule, services, or caregiver assignment would better support the client's safety, comfort, and overall well-being.

A Partnership That Continues

Our commitment doesn't end after care begins. We stay in regular communication with our clients, families, and caregivers to ensure everything is going smoothly and that expectations continue to be met.

Care Designed Around You

Every client is unique, and every care plan should be too. Our commitment is to provide compassionate, personalized care that grows and evolves alongside your loved one's needs, giving families confidence, peace of mind, and the support they deserve every step of the way.
